Artefacts from an imaginary civilization

Georges Ayusawa creates unique sculptures conceived as remnants of a civilization that never existed.

Using discarded industrial materials and forgotten objects, he builds figures, masks and armours that appear to carry the memory of a vanished world.

His work explores transformation, transmission and the relationship between technology, ritual and humanity.
