ISADORA

ISADORA pays homage as much to the tragically-fated dancer and choreographer as to the most incredible hot-rods of early 20th century. A pinch of Amilcar, a touch of Bugatti, driven like the devil by a revolutionary creator, ISADORA vibrates and squeals, and looks just as good on a sideboard as with its tires on the ground, doing doughnut after doughnut on a polished floor.

How can you help but give in to the charm of the very first race cars of automobile history? Human/machine interface at its rawest, engineering and driving feats – I really wanted to create a « rough-hewn » car, and add lots of details. ISADORA is made from a sheet metal bread box, clock and camera parts, mounted on the (heavily modified) frame of a remote-control car. She’s motorized, very noisy, and can be driven with a remote from your sofa!
